Since we cannot attend our music therapy sessions in person due to the coronavirus, we will be holding online music therapy sessions. These are led by our Music Director, Sun Joo Lee.
Zoom is an easy platform for video and audio conferencing. It allows screen-sharing across Windows, Mac and other operating systems. Members will need to log onto the Internet to join an online Tremble Clefs meeting.
A member may choose to join any of the three meetings. It does not matter whether you attend the Original TC, the West Side TC, the North West TC or the South East TC; you are all members of Tremble Clefs Arizona. You can attend the session which best fits your schedule. Our Music Director Sun Joo invites you to attend as many sessions each week as you wish.
We welcome anyone with Parkinson's disease to join. Use this email address to contact our Music Director for information about how to join a Zoom session: ssoli96@hotmail.com
For those of you already members, the link for Zoom check-ins is always in our e-newsletters, "What's New in Tremble Clefs AZ? which arrives in your email on the 1st and 15th of each month. You can also get the links from the Music Director and leaders of each group.
On July 17th, our music therapist director, Sun Joo Lee, began a special Zoom. This special Zoom is limited to 25 people. It is designed to give each person individual attention. The music therapy sessions are Friday morning at 8:50 a.m. and last one hour. The fee per month is $40; it is non-refundable. If you have questions or want to register, you may contact Ms. Lee at ssoli96@hotmail.com OR Tim Sheehan at Clefnote2019@gmail.com.
Fees from this Special Zoom will help our singing groups. Additional details about this fee-based group are located on the SPECIAL EVENTS page.
Note: You do not have to already be a member of a Tremble Clefs group to join. If you have PD, we welcome you.
There are now four separate Tremble Clefs groups in Maricopa County under the umbrella of Tremble Clefs Arizona. The newest group providing music therapy for people with Parkinson's opened in Sun Lakes on November 7, 2019. All our groups welcome new members.
We still welcome new members, however the groups meet on-line via Zoom. The section above gives you information about our Zoom meetings as currently scheduled for 2020/2021 and a contact email address for more information.
Tremble Clefs Arizona is a not-for-profit corporation led by a board of directors. Directors do not receive compensation for their work on the Board. We have paid consultants who hold the positions of Music Director and Accompanist. Without volunteers and help from donors, the organization Tremble Clefs Arizona would not exist.
We invite anyone with Parkinson’s disease to join us. A family member or caregiver may accompany you to practice sessions. The choral groups meet regularly on a weekly basis. Please be aware that while we may meet in churches, it is for convenience and cost benefits. Tremble Clefs is not affiliated with any religious group. All people with Parkinson’s disease are welcome and no musical experience is expected or required.
